В таком случае, почему в данном случае скобка круглая (и открывающая, и закрывающая), а в 2-х других местах - квадратная? Можно было поставить квадратную скобку как закрывающую, а внутри смайл. Я думаю, что опечатка произошла еще в открывающей скобке, а потом просто решили подыграть и поставить там такую же.
Кстати, в последних скобках [Renewed applause.] перед закрыванием скобки тоже стоит символ, но в этот раз - точка. Тоже смайл?
Вобщем, никак не верится, что в спиче такого серьезного человека может быть смайл.
Это один момент.
А второй момент, это достоверность оригинальности документа.
1. Большая буква L написана как маленькая. На машинке 1862 года это возможно? (Не веско, но непонятно)
2. И самое главное: в печатных машинках используется моноширный шрифт, т.е. ширина символа неизменна. Пример:
Теперь найдите слово examination в тексте этого спича и сравните литеру
m и следующую за ней литеру
i. В других словах тоже можете сравнить. Запустите продвинутый текстовый редактор(OpenOffice подойдет), введите любое слово на английском языке в моношрифте, и поймете в чем дело.
Напоследок, абсурдность самих вставок в скобках:
Это как бы ток-шоу получается современное: человек говорит, а там наверху загорается лампочка - хлопайте в ладоши, смейтесь! Время было военное тогда, как раз была гражданская война. Не до ток-шоу, вроде бы...
Самое веское для меня - это оригинальность документа, в подделке чего я уже убедился.
